Is it all worth losing my soul?
In our lives, we all get into a period of spiritual dryness at some point. On days when we don't want to pray for ourselves and others less, days where we need others to pray for us because we don't think we can be as close to God as we once were. What do you do in that situation?
We have sins that, for one reason or another, take us from the way of the Lord. Because of that, we have other priorities from which the Lord is rarely found. You still know you need him. But life feels like it is good without him as well. Sometimes, it is even better until you realize that it is all a lie. After sinning, I want to repent but don't feel I want to. Are those sins even worthy of making me lose my faith and soul?
I'm happy that the Lord is graceful and merciful, loves me ( and all of us), and forgives fully. That means He waits for me to return no matter how often I fall.
Is it all worth losing my soul? No, nothing is worth losing our souls for. No type of sin or pleasure is worth losing the salvation we get in Jesus.
Be blessed, and stay blessed!
